
· CATL Challenge Camp
CATL Challenge Camp is a social practice program centered on "integrated talent development", combining industry research, field trips, and social observation. Focused on new energy and green manufacturing, health and eco-industry, GIFT students visit CATL facilities and local communities, building engineering skills, social responsibility, and teamwork spirit through the practical projects.

· Wuxi Industrial Research
The Wuxi Industrial Research is a university-local government collaborative social practice project designed for participants in the " GIFT Future Scholars Program". The project focuses on health science and technology, sustainable energy, and AI integration. Participants visit key industrial parks and enterprises, research the technological innovation ecosystem, and deliver presentations. The project aims to deepen the symbiotic relationship between "university research and local industries," providing young scholars with a broader practical platform. It seeks to deeply integrate the intellectual strengths of universities with the needs of local industries, thereby building a bridge between the basic research and the transformative applications.

· "Sleep and Health" Summer Social Practice
In summer 2025, the "Sleep and Health" Social Practice Team from GIFT completed an 8-day scientific program. Using a "theory-practice-data" model, students attended lectures, visited Shanghai Mental Health Center, Huashan Hospital Sleep Center, and campus labs, and conducted polysomnography and data analysis. It marked a solid step in the collaboration between GIFT and the industry. Participants transitioned from knowledge receivers to scientific explorers, enhancing their research skills and interdisciplinary vision.

· 2026 Winter Study Tour
The GIFT Winter Study Tour is an international program for all GIFT students, aiming to cultivate future global tech leaders. In winter 2026, students visited the UK, South Korea, and the UAE to explore sustainable energy, AI integration, and health tech. Collaborating with top local universities, students experienced diverse educational models, enjoyed local scenery and cuisine, and immersed themselves in different cultures. Through continuous cross-cultural exposure, the program broadens global perspectives and enhances intercultural skills, building a model that blends Chinese wisdom with global vision to develop future technology leaders ready for global transformation.
